The Findlay-Hancock County Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring the Women's Leadership Forum on Thursday, August 25, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Hancock Hotel, 631 S. Main Street, Findlay. The luncheon will feature Dr. Renee Smith, chief medical officer of Blanchard Valley Health System (BVHS). Dr. Smith will present on leadership behavior and her career path.
Dr. Smith holds a bachelor of science degree in medical microbiology and immunology from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, and an executive master of business administration degree from the University of Wisconsin, Oshkosh. She earned her medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin. She has served in progressive leadership roles at Aspirus Network, Inc., a clinically integrated provider network in Wausau, Wisconsin. She was named chief medical officer at BVHS in November 2021.
